Apart from the stunning beauty of the park itself, the local area has many interesting and historical sites that you may visit when you are in the area. These points of interest are located close by and make for a nice country drive and maybe even a picnic.
Scenic Areas:- Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada – Stunningly beautiful area with towering Rocky Mountains next to deep lakes. This park has many things to offer from the abundant wildlife, which can often be seen from the roadside (Grizzly bears, black bear, cougars, deer, elk, moose…ect) to beautiful waterfalls. This park is also home to one of the top 10 most beautiful hiking trails in Canada.
